Naughty tot
Despite telling the tot not to hit mummy, he still did it. Frustrated for not able to see his train on the lappy, he hit Mama Simz twice! Sent him to the naughty corner (which he obediently walk to his favourite fridge) but less than 10 seconds, he came running back with his cheeky smile and planted a very wet kiss on my face. He's such a darling that is so hard to discipline him. So blessed to have such a darling boy!

2nd month
Oh yes! The Simz Family has managed to survive the 2nd month in this foreign land! Everything has more or less settled down, and all our shipment from home had already unpacked! Haiz, Mama Simz regretted for not smuggling more food sauce into the boxes!
Updates on the tot:
The little tot has never failed to amzaed Mama Simz with his once-a-day-new-word-said. 16th month is the miracle month! He seems to learn everything with just a click of hand. The skills he picked up this month are:
1) Self feed from the fork.
2) Ride the car with his feet pushing forward
3) drinking water from his cup with just a little water
4) Understand all the instructions
5) Trying to get rid of the diaper and use the toilet bowl.
6) Wave to anyone who smile at him at the street
7) He can read!!!
Yes! He can read 4 words now! Or maybe more? Mama Simz can only verified that he can read the following words:
- Hi (he will said 'hi')
- keys (he will show us his sign language)
- dog (he will said woof woof)
- monkey (he will said mon mon)
Another thing that Mama Simz are really proud of the little tot is, he's able to sit in the car seat and sit through most of his meal time! All thanks to 'no tv'! Mama Simz still remember that a very good friend of hers asked her if the little tot had been watching too much tv, as she witness the little tot not able to sit still for long during a day outing.

Mama Simz was worried as there were relatives who had ADHD, though all of them grew out of it. So thank god that Mama Simz was just overly worried for nothing!
With the little tot able to sit still, Mama Simz is able to read at least 2 books to him everyday. Or even more, as the little tot will want Mama Simz to repeat the story just like a spoilt radio!

New Home
Finally! We found a decent place to stay for the next 18 months. It's a ideal location but too quiet a town for me and the tot to venture out. Probably we will do that soon once we are more familiar with the place!
The weather is fantastic! Not humid and a little breeze on a afternoon! No wonder the tot can sleep so well during his nap.
Updates of the tot:
He can speak a few words now, and they are:
- Oh where
- more more (No more)
- Hey (Hi) (He will say this after showing him the word 'Hi')
- Ah Gong
- Ah Ma
- Ah Po (Wai Po)
- Jie Jie
- Ha-llo (Hello)
- there
- da (daddy)
Oh yes, don't remind me he don't know how to call 'Mummy!'

The adventure begins...
Hello,
The Simz family had manage to survived the long haul flight with the little tot. Surprisingly, he's the only one in the family, eating and sleeping well. Parents sitting near us really envy us that we had a sleep log.. he eats and sleeps at the usual time, all thanks to the fixed routine he had for the while.
The new place we had was not very well equipped, with no wardrobe and the furniture not being very new. Haha.. think we had been too pampered during the hotel stay for the past 10 days. So now, both of us (excluding the tot, cos he still eats and sleep, not forgetting fun, as usual) are having a hard time adapting with the different quality of life.
Will post some pics that was taken during the flight once everything is settled down. How long will that be? Hmm.. We wish to know too. Papa Simz was hoping that there will be a vacant room in the nearby hotel tonight... but until now, there's no new. So i think we will still have to sleep in the dusty bed for the night.

The blog is alive!
Hello,
the blog is/will be alive again! All thanks to Papa Sim for getting Mama Simz out of the rat race since the end of the maternity leave, which also resulted in a very obvious lack of post! Papa Simz will uproot the whole family to a 'secret' place which is one of Mama Simz's 'must go' destination! Not only we can tour that place, but we are going to live in the place, how nice!
Suppose to depart the little red dot on the 19th Apr. However, due to the erupted volcano in Iceland, our flight was canceled, that made us a little pathetic. WE ARE HOMELESS!
Initially, we were still quite upset for having to depart from our motherland. For the past few days, Papa Simz had been telling Mama Simz 'how I wish we can fly, NOW!' We have not many clothes and most of our belongings had already been shipped out.
I think the happiest person will be the little tot. He had been enjoying himself so much! From grandma's home, (his awake time will be chasing after the dog) to the hotel stay (a big bed that can accommodate the three of us.)
22 more hours before we will embark on the journey to the 'secret' place. Hope the little tot will behave in the plane and pray that he will sleep through the flight! Bon Voyage to the Simz family!
